Instructors focus on the importance of controlling, with confidence, medical emergencies and providing life support for victims of sudden illness or injury. CONFINED SPACE TRAINING Tuesday, October 29, 2024 | 8:00AM - 10:00AM This course covers the requirements of the OSHA Confined Space Standards. Course topics include safety and health hazards associated with confined space entry, and the evaluation, prevention, and abatement of these hazards. The course covers OSHA requirements, definitions of confined spaces, procedures for working in and/or around confined spaces and responsibilities of workers. This course is designed for employers or a designated representative (line supervisor or manager) with the responsibility to develop a confined space program and for workers who may be required to work within a confined space. Upon course completion students will have a basic understanding of confined space hazards, evaluating and abatement of the hazards, and determining when a confined space shall be classified as a permit-required confined space or non-permit required confined space.
