HONORING SERVICE, BUILDING CAREERS: CONSTRUCTION INCLUSION WEEK
Wednesday, October 16, 2024 | 11:30AM – 1:30PM
Join us for a special Construction Inclusion Week event brought to you by ABC-VA’s Inclusion, Diversity & Merit (IDM) Committee! This event is focused on supporting veterans as they transition from military service to rewarding careers in the private sector including the construction industry here in Hampton Roads. Veterans bring a unique set of skills, discipline, and leadership that are highly valued in construction, but integrating into the private sector can present challenges. This event will explore the pathways available for veterans, share success stories, and provide resources to make the transition smoother.
Our special guest speakers from The Honor Foundation will discuss their transformative program and its mission, vision and values. A representative from the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program will also be joining us to provide insightful information about the program and how their department can support businesses with resources and assistance connecting with Veterans!
Registration for this event is open to members & non-members of ABC-VA. Whether you’re a veteran exploring career options or a company looking to hire and support veterans in your workforce, this event will offer valuable perspectives and practical tools for success.
