The program will provide an overview of the construction industry’s size and diversity, employee and contractor profiles and discuss how the construction industry is affected by change. Students will learn the organization of a construction firm, the construction process and information necessary to understand construction documents including basic blueprint reading, contracts, change orders, submittals, progress schedules and experience the estimating and bidding process.
This workshop is geared towards administrative staff, assistant project managers, marketing specialists and entry level construction professionals.
