YOUNG PROS, BIG IMPACT: SPECIAL OLYMPICS FUNDRAISER
Wednesday, January 22, 2025  |  5:00PM – 9:00PM
Nine diverse Young Professionals groups throughout Hampton Roads are coming together for an evening of networking and fundraising for Special Olympics Virginia. 10% of all food and beverage sales + ALL tips will be donated to Special Olympics VA, as well as the Elizabeth River Trail. Chow down on tasty BLZN Tacos and sip delicious craft beer by Coastal Fermentory while supporting a worthy cause. Non-alcoholic options available. This is a pay-your-own-way event.

Please note: this event is for Young Professionals (40 & under). Registration is required.

YP groups include ABC-VA, YPB Special Olympics, Thrive, HRACRE, Urban League of Hampton Roads, CBDA, AGC Virginia, Virginia Beach Jaycees and HRUHCA.

Join us in making a difference in the lives of children battling pediatric cancer! Our association is proud to partner with Roc Solid Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing hope and joy to families affected by pediatric cancer. We’re rallying our members to support their incredible mission.

The Project: Build a Playhouse!
On November 16 at the ABC-VA Hampton Roads Training Facility, we will be building a playhouse for a deserving child, providing a safe haven for imagination, laughter, and adventure. Your donation will help bring this project to life!

All sponsorships go toward the cost to build the playhouse. Sponsoring companies should bring 2-4 volunteers to help build.

How You Can Help:
• Donate funds to support materials and construction
• Volunteer your time and expertise to help build the playhouse
• Spread the word and inspire others to join the cause

Why It Matters:
• 1 in 5 children diagnosed with cancer won’t survive
• Roc Solid Foundation has built over 500 playhouses, bringing joy to thousands of families

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS: ANNUAL CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT FUNDRAISER
Saturday, May 18, 2024  |  11:00AM – 3:00PM
Join us for a day of friendly competition at Hampton Roads’ Annual Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser! You don’t want to miss this exciting day of fun, networking and giving back to the community! Please note: although this event is hosted by the Young Professionals, ALL members are welcome.

This year’s tournament will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – VA Chapter. Established in 1987, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please call *988. We can all help prevent suicide. 

Limited to 32 teams.
