Susan Long-Molnar, President, Managing Communications Consulting – Susan Long-Molnar is a lifelong professional communicator with over 35 years of experience assisting business owners and their employees to communicate effectively so they exceed their business goals. Susan graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.A. in Theatre Arts/Communications and a minor in English. She began a teaching career in 1976 after moving to Virginia Beach to teach at Princess Anne High School. After five years of entrepreneurship, she began an 11-year corporate jaunt in communications management, first at Sentara, followed by Cox Communications, then USAA and many other well-known brands.

This topic focuses on best practices when interfacing with an injured field employee as they navigate the Workers Compensation process. Most people hear “workers’ comp claim” and freeze. The goal during this training is to eliminate the stigma around workplace injuries. ASHE (AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR HEALTH CARE ENGINEERING) CERTIFIED HEALTH CARE CONSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
Wednesday, May 3 – Thursday, May 4, 2023 | 8:00AM – 5:00PM
The ASHE Certified Health Constructor certification is best for general contractors, supervisors, and project leaders who lead health care construction projects and want to show a commitment to health care facility construction. We expect this training to sell out – only 80 spots available.
E-learning prerequisite required. All Health Care Construction Workshop attendees must complete an e-learning prerequisite portion before the face-to-face program begins on May 3. The prerequisite should take about 5-7 hours to complete. Attendees can log in and out, so they can work at their own pace. A Certificate of Attendance with CECs is awarded once the evaluation is complete. Attendees will receive information to access the e-learning prerequisite upon registering. Completing ONLY the e-learning prerequisite does not constitute as completion of the Health Care Construction workshop.
ASHE recommends that each general contractor/project lead holds a CHC Certification, and that at least one CHC holder should be part of every health care facility construction project.
