He serves as President and oversees day-to-day operations of the company. George earned a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. George has shaped MEB into what it is today over the last 40+ years. From one of the company’s first small parking lot jobs to now successfully completing $200+ million in work in a year with a 300+ member team. Playing an active role in his local community, George is committed to local charitable and non-profit organizations. He serves on numerous boards and commissions including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Commission, the Chesapeake Division of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, and Virginia Tech’s Myers-Lawson School of Construction.
