ABC-VA has assembled a diverse panel with expertise across multiple disciplines to offer valuable insights into evaluating and selecting project delivery methods. This program emphasizes the importance of understanding roles and responsibilities within chosen methods, cultivating trust, transparency, and mutual respect among stakeholders. Participants will review each project delivery method from the perspectives of project owners, consultants, and contractors.

This panel is geared towards General Contractors and Subcontractors: Owners, Managers, Project Managers, Commercial Managers, Business Development Managers, Project Owners, Third-Party Project Managers (for Project Owners), and P3 Developers (Architects and Engineers)

Geoff Bambini, Terra Site Constructs (Moderator)
Cathy Underwood, Branch, Inc.
As the first female to lead the company, Cathy’s 20 years of experience give her unparalleled insight into Branch’s operations. Her skills have been invaluable in bringing complex projects to successful completion, including the $107.5 million Montgomery County Public Schools (VA) 3-School PPEA project as well as the $59 million Ridgeview High School/Middle School project in Dickenson County, Virginia. Cathy also pursued and led the company’s introductory LEAN construction project via Integrated Project Delivery.
Michael Mauceri, AIA, NCARB, RRMM Architects
Michael Mauceri is a principal at RRMM Architects, as well as a registered architect, USGBC Green Classroom Professional, NCARB certified professional, and a member of AIA. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech in 2010, Michael’s experience has led teams on comprehensive, K-12 educational design projects.
Al Orndorff, Ed. D., Frederick County Public Schools (retired)
From July 2004 through his retirement in 2021, Dr. Orndorff served as the Assistant Superintendent for Administration with Frederick County Public Schools. In that role, he provided direct supervision and coordination of supervision of the processes, practices, and planning of seven different departments. Amongst several other departments, he successfully lead the Construction and Facilities Use, Planning and Development and Finance.
