General contractors can enhance project management expertise by learning about the services and products that most testing and inspection agencies can provide to construction projects in the DC Metropolitan area.
This presentation at the ECS Mid-Atlantic facility will cover the following topics:
• Special inspections, third-party inspections, and some of the major differences in the same jurisdictions.
• Scheduling inspections and report analysis.
• Environmental services that may be encountered during construction and specialized testing and evaluation services.
The presentation includes a tour of ECS Mid-Atlantic’s facilities of typical soils and concrete/masonry laboratories.

This orientation is specifically targeted at project managers and superintendents of general contractors managing commercial or governmental construction projects.
