2024 ANNUAL STRATEGIC PLANNING CONFERENCE Thursday, November 7 – Friday, November 8, 2024  |  Begins 12:00PM on November 7 ABC-VA invites you to play an integral role in mapping out the chapter’s future at the beautiful Historic Cavalier Hotel & Beach Club. The intent of the conference is to review ABC-VA’s strategic plan and discuss issues and areas of effort to focus on over the next few years. The conference begins on Thursday, November 7, with lunch at 12:00PM and meeting start time at 1:00PM. The work portion of the conference ends Friday, November 8, around noon. Registration fee includes November 7 lunch, dinner & entertainment, and November 8 breakfast. Please note: this conference is for actively engaged ABC-VA members only. MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID (MHFA) REGISTER HERE Offered by Mid Atlantic OTI Education Center, this course will be held at ABC-VA Hampton Roads Training Facility, Host Training Organization Friday, November 8, 2024 | 8:00AM – 4:00PM Mental Health FIRST AID (MHFA) teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. You’ll build the skills and confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to those who are struggling. You’ll also learn how to help connect them to appropriate support.
