In this workshop, you will not only understand why some executives don’t understand the disconnect between themselves and younger workers, but how to influence their decisions, practices, and communications. This workshop is ideal for supervisors, up-and-coming managers, and human resource personnel.

Objectives:
1. Identify why executives are often disconnected with the interests, values, and experiences of the younger workers they want to hire and retain
2. Review and consider communication techniques for you to gain buy-in by senior management
3. To discuss communications and process strategies that engage senior management in change toward a more people-centric organization

SPEAKER
Susan Long-Molnar, President, Managing Communications Consulting – Susan Long-Molnar is a lifelong professional communicator with over 35 years of experience assisting business owners and their employees to communicate effectively so they exceed their business goals. Susan graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.A. in Theatre Arts/Communications and a minor in English. She began a teaching career in 1976 after moving to Virginia Beach to teach at Princess Anne High School. After five years of entrepreneurship, she began an 11-year corporate jaunt in communications management, first at Sentara, followed by Cox Communications, then USAA and many other well-known brands.
